Accelerated Tax & Advisory Services ("Accelerated," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through acceltas.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only. Clients of the firm receive a separate privacy notice that governs the financial and tax information we handle in the course of an engagement.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the service you are interested in, and the contents of your message. When you call or email us, we collect whatever you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. The Site does not set tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google, which may log your IP address under Google's own privacy policy.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
• To provide the services you request and communicate with you about them
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to a tax practice

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and the practice, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Netlify hosts the Site and processes contact-form submissions, which are stored in our Netlify account and emailed to us.
• Google Workspace provides our email.
• ShareFile powers the secure client portal linked from the Site. The portal is a separate service with its own privacy policy and is used only with established clients.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or a request from a government authority, or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship and any retention period required by law. You can ask us to delete an inquiry at any time using the contact details below.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax documents through the contact form. Once you are a client, we will give you access to the secure portal for that purpose.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you from the Site. Email us at arin@acceltas.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. California residents may also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act to the extent it applies to us. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party services, including the client portal. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
